The Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to an assault that occurred at approximately 12:05am on Saturday 9th July 2011 in Wellington Street, Douglas, which left a male unconscious on the ground. The Police are looking for anyone who may have witnessed or have any knowledge if the incident. If anyone has any information please contact Douglas Police Headquarters on 631212 or Crimestoppers 0800 555 111. Ends ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sometime between 1pm and 4pm on Tuesday 12th July 2011 damage has been caused to a garden wall on the junction of Douglas Avenue and Port-e-Chee Avenue, Douglas. Person(s) unknown have collided into the wall causing it to collapse into the garden; they have then left the scene without informing the owner or the Police. Evidence at the scene would indicate that the damage was caused by a large vehicle which was possible turning in the lane. If anyone saw this collision happen or knows who might be responsible they are asked to contact PC 170 McLean at Lord Street police station or ring Police Headquarters on 631212 ENDS
