Police are appealing for witnesses in relation to a Honda motorcycle which was damaged on the Upper Promenade, near the Falcons Nest Hotel in Port Erin The motorcycle was allegedly kicked over at about 10pm on Thursday 14th July 2011. As a result the owner of the bike, a visitor to the Southern 100 road races, was left with a ?900 repair bill. Anyone who has information about this incident is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or a anonymously via Isle of Man Crimestoppers on 0800 555111. -------------------- Between the hours 3pm and 7pm on Friday 15th July 2011, an unknown vehicle has collided with a dark red Citroen C8 which was parked near to the junction of St Catherine’s Drive and Westbourne Drive in Douglas. During this collision, impact from the unknown vehicle caused extensive damage to the driver’s side of the Citroen, causing a high degree of inconvenience to the owner. No person was injured as a result of the collision. The vehicle involved then left the scene of the collision without providing any of the required details. Police enquiries are currently continuing, but in any instance they would request that the driver of the vehicle which failed to stop following this collision to come forward and speak to them. Any person who may have seen or heard anything, or who knows the identity of either the driver or the vehicle involved is asked to contact Constable Andrew Lloyd at Lord Street Police Station 631212. -------------------- Between the hours of 4am and 4:30am on Monday 11th July 2011, two males were seen to make entry into the inner compound of Kirby Garden Centre on Vicarage Road, Braddan. While within the premises they have stolen two Barracuda aquarium pumps from one of the inner buildings. The males responsible were dressed in black and were seen making off from the premises on foot in the direction of Ballaughton Manor Hill. Police investigations are continuing into this matter, and as such, if anyone has either seen anything or knows anything in relation to these above events, they are asked to please contact Police Constable Andrew Lloyd at Lord Street Police Station on 631212. -------------------- Criminal Damage to a Motor Vehicle Between 8am and 8.30pm, Saturday 16th July 2011 person(s) unknown are believed to have walked over a gold coloured Citroen Saxo motor car that was parked on Murrays Road, Douglas. Extensive damage was caused to the bonnet, roof and the car’s rear spoiler which was stamped off causing the rear windscreen to shatter. This crime has occurred in broad daylight, it is hoped that someone in the vicinity may have witnessed the damage being caused. If anyone has witnessed or knows who might be responsible for causing this damage they are asked to contact PC 286 Andrew Greaves at Lord Street Police Station or ring Police Headquarters. -------------------- Theft of Hanging Basket Outside Classy Canine, Laxey Promenade - 16 July A hanging basket has been stolen from outside the premises of Classy Canine, The Promenade, Laxey. The theft occurred sometime between 7pm Friday 15th July and 10.50am Saturday 16th July. The premises are located at the far end of the promenade adjoining the public toilet block. The hanging basket is described as being planted with full grown dark coloured Petunias and blue trailing Lobelia contained in a brown wicker basket.
