AFD Software visit the Wildlife Park

by isleofman.com 18th July 2011
Staff from AFD Software of Ramsey had a perfect summer’s evening for a private visit to the Curraghs Wildlife Park, Ballaugh, together with members of their families. The party of more than 60 people was treated to a bird of prey demonstration by Park Duty Manager, Tina Jauncey, and an Animal Encounters session by the Friends of the Curraghs Wildlife Park. They also enjoyed rides on the Orchid Line Miniature Railway and a barbecue and buffet at the Lakeside cafe. Jackie Robinson, who organised the visit on behalf of AFD Software, said: ‘I have had lots of positive feedback from my colleagues saying what an enjoyable evening they had. AFD is a great team to work with – but it’s much more than that, it’s really one big family – so it was great to see everyone having such fun together on our trip to the Wildlife Park!’ Nick Pinder, Park Manager, commented: ‘I am pleased everyone from AFD enjoyed themselves. We try to accommodate groups and tailor the animal experiences to their wishes and can cater for everything from private corporate nights to children’s parties.’ For more information about corporate and party bookings, please contact Nick Pinder or Tina Jauncey, tel (01624) 897323. - Ends -
