IOMLTA Veteran Championships

The IOMLTA Veteran Championships will be held at Castletown LTC August 6-13. There are singles events Men’s/Women’s singles and doubles- 35,45, 55,65 and over. There are also Mixed doubles 35 and 55 and over. The eligibility date is that you attain that age during 2011. You can enter on line. Tournament code is IOM 301 and entries close on August 3. In the past Albany has always given this event good support and it would be nice to see that again. The Mini Tennis programme finishes this weekend and will re-start after the school holiday. However there will be some Summer Camp tennis during the holiday. The dates and times for this are Week One Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursdays August 2, 3 and 4; week two August 23, 24 and 25; week three 30, 31 August and September 1. The times for each day are Red Ball - 1-2pm ages 5 –6 yrs ?4 per session; 2–3pm ages 7-8yrs ?4 per session; Orange Ball – 3 – 4pm ages 8–9yrs ?4 per session; Green Ball 10–11.30am ages 9-10yrs ?5 per session.
