Local Yachting Event Raises ?1,000 For Sailing Charity Moore Stephens Isle of Man, leading providers of multi-sector accountancy, consultancy and wealth management services has raised ?1,000 for Sailing for the Disabled at the Moore Stephens Douglas Regatta 2011, sponsored for the third year by the firm. The weekend saw 15 yachts compete over four races to secure the top prize won this year by Chris Hall, rear commodore for Douglas Bay Yacht Club, and his crew on board “EAUVATION” Moore Stephens Isle of Man donated ?1,000 to the Douglas Bay Yacht Club to support the event’s activities including a BBQ with live entertainment and a prize giving ceremony. “This year’s Regatta has been the most successful yet, and to raise ?1,000 for Sailing for the Disabled is fantastic”, said Ayuk Ntuiabane, director for Moore Stephens Yachting, “We’re happy to help out whenever we can and thank all of those companies and individuals who contributed towards the fundraising effort”. “We’re grateful to Moore Stephens Isle of Man for their support, especially during the Regatta”, said Terry Hopkins, vice president for Sailing for the Disabled, “They’ve become more than corporate sponsors to us and our members have enjoyed being a part of the firm’s cruise on “MV KARINA” to watch the racing.
