Bring Your Bear for a Free Ice Cream

by isleofman.com 22nd July 2011
The Curraghs Wildlife Park, Ballaugh, is hosting two teddy bears’ picnics this summer. The first one is on Thursday (28 July) and every child bringing their teddy bear to visit the park that day will receive a voucher for a free ice cream from the park’s cafe. The next teddy bears’ picnic will be on Thursday 25 August. Oliver the Bear (pictured) likes chocolate ice cream best, one of the flavours available in the Wildlife Park’s promotional offer. Other choices are bubblegum, banana and strawberry. Tina Jauncey, Park Duty Manager, said: ‘It took me ages to find out what flavour is Oliver’s favourite! He will be back on Thursday for another ice cream and he looks forward to meeting lots of other much-loved teddies being brought to see our animals and entitling their owners to a free ice cream cone.’ · Please note the voucher for a free ice cream applies only on 28 July and 25 August for children accompanied by their teddy bear. The free ice cream is for a one scoop cone of selected flavours. The Wildlife Park is open daily until the end of October from 10am until 6pm. ENDS
