Appy Day for Manx Telecom iPhone Winner

by isleofman.com 22nd July 2011
Attending a Manx Telecom focus group led to one customer winning a brand new iPhone. Annie Saunders, from Castletown, attended the focus group which was organised so that customers could give feedback on Manx Telecom’s products and services. All of those who attended had their names put into a prize draw and Annie’s name was the first out of the hat. She said: “This is the first time I have ever won anything so I was delighted to receive the prize. Manx Telecom’s staff have been extremely helpful in explaining about how to use apps and the other functions available on the iPhone.” Annie visited Manx Telecom’s headquarters at Isle of Man Business Park to be presented with her new iPhone and a Manx Telecom goodie bag by Adrian Cowin, Manx Telecom Head of Customer Service Delivery. He congratulated Annie on her win and added that receiving feedback from customers in focus groups was just one way Manx Telecom aimed to maintain high standards of customer service. He said: “Manx Telecom is totally committed to improving every customer’s experience with our business – an approach that supported our success in last year’s Isle of Man Newspapers Awards for Excellence in which we won the Customer Service award. Listening and responding to our customers is a key business objective and the focus groups provided some really excellent insights.”
