Police are appealing to the person who purchased a blue Cannondale mountain bike from an independent seller, outside a property on Shore Road, Peel, on or around the weekend of Saturday 2nd July 2011. This mountain bike has since been reported as stolen. Police are requesting that the owner of the bike comes forward so as to assist with enquiries into this matter. At this time it is not suspected that there is any criminal intent in the purchase of this bicycle, and we would urge the new owner to make themselves known to Police. Any person who may have information which might assist Police with their investigation are invited to contact PC 259 Leanne Walsh, at Peel Police Station on 842208, or report to any other Police Patrol.
