Successful Joint Offer Extended Until August 21

by isleofman.com 28th July 2011
The Sefton Group and Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays are extending a special offer aimed at attracting short break visitors to the Island. The local companies joined forces in April and May to offer a package of a return foot passenger sea crossing with two nights’ bed and breakfast accommodation and repeated the deal in July. The offer, which is priced at just ?109, has proved so popular, it has now been made available until August 21. The package has been promoted through an advertising campaign in the Liverpool Echo and Liverpool Evening Post and details of the offer were also picked up by a number of north-west based newspapers and magazines. Sefton Group Director of Hotels and Leisure, Adrian Brockhouse, commented: ‘The results of working with Isle of Man Steam Packet Holidays to produce this fantastic deal are plain to see – we’re delighted so many people chose to take us up on the offer to spend a few days here. Hopefully, the extension into August will continue to tempt visitors to the Island.’ Brian Convery from Steam Packet Holidays said: ‘In extending the offer, we’re hoping to encourage even more people to consider the Isle of Man as a short break destination. There’s plenty going on here in August, including the Castletown Festival and Peel Carnival, Royal Manx Agricultural Show, Viking Longboat races, an International Folk Dancing festival, Great Laxey Mine Railway, Manx Model Flyers Meet, a marathon and half marathon event.’ ENDS
