The ever-popular eClub hosted their third event on Thursday 21 July. The eClub is a social meeting place for anyone involved with eGaming on the Isle of Man. The initiative was started by KPMG and Continent 8 to bring the growing number of people working in this sector together in one place and start building lasting relationships.
The event was sponsored by Island-based gaming consultancy provider, Vont and online poker affiliate giant PokerNews. The party which commenced at 6pm at the Courthouse Club featured a blackjack table where guests got the chance to learn blackjack and play for fun in a tournament-style setting with winners of each round receiving a set of Vont/PokerNews engraved shot glasses. There was a vibrant atmosphere as guests enjoyed activities and socialised with old friends and met new acquaintances.
CEO of Vont, Jon Sykes reflected on the event: “We are so pleased to have been sponsors of the eClub this summer. Vont and PokerNews are two Isle of Man based entities that have benefitted from the Island’s reputation as a highly regulated offshore centre for gaming.
Being involved in the eClub is a great way to catch up with existing clients and establish new contacts in a laid back environment. The eClub has always been a fun and exciting event and this party proved no different. I’d encourage anyone with an interest to get involved. You won’t be disappointed!”
