Isle of Man Bank customers who use iPhones are now able to download a free App allowing them to conduct their banking online from their smart phone. Customers will also be able to view mini statements and set limit alerts to prevent overspending. Isle of Man Bank Managing Director Bill Shimmins commented: ‘The iPhone App has been designed to enable customers to access banking facilities anytime and anywhere and is in recognition of the fact that more customers want instant online access to their money. The App will allow customers to easily manage their money on the move. As the Isle of Man Bank continues to drive forward investment in innovation, we are delighted to be the first bank to offer a dedicated banking App in the Island and the intention is to widen this facility to customers using the Blackberry and Android in the near future.’ Customers wishing to download the App can do so by going to the iTunes App Store on the phone and keying in word Isle of Man Bank Mobile.
