Douglas Police are investigating a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred in the car park of Anagh Coar Stores, Douglas, between 4:30pm and 4:45pm on Monday 25th July 2011. Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the collision, involving a maroon Ford Mondeo, Spanish Registration, and an unknown vehicle. Any person who may have witnessed the collision happening is asked to contact PC 93 Katrina Keeling at Lord Street Police Station. Ends ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are appealing for any witnesses to a break in and acts of vandalism caused to buildings in Summerhill Quarry, Douglas. This has occurred between Thursday 21st July and Friday 29th July whereby it is believed that three unknown persons have broken a window and entered one of the buildings situated on the site. Once inside they have caused some damage to the property. Police would also like to express their concerns for anyone who has thoughts of entering the site and its buildings due to the high level of risk associated with the area. There are several areas where serious injuries could be caused and are advising individuals to keep clear.
