House of Keys To Be Dissolved on August 18

With the final sitting of Tynwald before the Isle of Man 2011 general election on September 29 concluded, the House of Keys will be dissolved on Thursday August 18. Newly elected Members of the House of Keys will be sworn in on Tuesday October 4 at 11.30am and at 2.30pm the Speaker will be elected by the House of Keys and any other business conducted. The President will summon Tynwald Court to elect a new Chief Minister on Tuesday October 11 at 10.30am. Ends
