Police are appealing for any witnesses to two cycle thefts which occurred on South Quay, Douglas. Sometime between 1:30pm and 11pm on Sunday 7th August, access has been gained to a private car park at the Hilary Wharf apartments and two bicycle’s have been stolen. Both bikes are quite distinctive, one of which is a black coloured men’s ‘Manter’ mountain bike with the other being a navy blue and fluorescent yellow ladies mountain bike. We would also like to use this opportunity to remind owners to secure any items such as bikes in order to minimise or prevent such incidents. People are also reminded to remain vigilant and report any occurrences of theft, damage or disorder.
