ePostbox Goes Live

by isleofman.com 11th August 2011
ePostbox – the new and innovative digital mail service from Isle of Man Post Office has gone live. As an added incentive, those who sign up now will receive ePostbox for free until the 30th September. Officially launched at The Mailbox in Douglas on the 1st July, ePostbox has undergone significant testing and development over the last month and is now ready for its first customers. Mike Kelly, Chief Executive of Isle of Man Post Office said: “This is a very exciting time for the future of Isle of Man Post Office as our first digital mail product goes live. We have been working on this product for some time and are delighted to now be able to make it available to our Customers. For the first time Customers can manage their mail as easily as their email allowing them to deal with important mail straight away. We expect the product to be popular with frequent travellers and Customers who are away from home for extended periods of time either on business or holiday.” ePostbox will change the traditional way of receiving mail. For the very first time, customers subscribing to the new service will have total control over each piece of mail they receive and, wherever they are in the world, they will be able to fully access and manage their physical post via their smart phone or PC. The customer will be alerted each time a new piece of mail has been received at their ePostbox address and will be able to view a scanned image of the front and back of each envelope. They then make a decision on whether to open and scan, securely destroy, forward to an address of their choice anywhere in the world or archive the contents at an Isle of Man Post Office secure address. Customers can register for the product now at www.epostbox.com. Prices start at just ?11.95 per month including 35 inclusive scans and free set up. -Ends-
