Bill Mummery, Executive Director of Celton Manx Ltd accepted the keys to the new Celton Manx Global Headquarters, Celton House, from Managing Director of Dandara Commercial Ltd, Seamus Nugent last week.
Since 2008, the Celton Group whose sports betting brand www.SBOBET.COM is a global leader in online sports betting, has been based Castletown. The new headquarters, located at the Isle of Man Business Park in Douglas, is an impressive purpose built development of over 6000sq ft.
Mr Mummery said: ‘After almost 18 months of working closely with Seamus and the team at Dandara, I am delighted to accept the keys to our fantastic new headquarters. It has been a pleasure to work with them on this project which has produced a Global Business Headquarters that we are extremely proud of. This is a memorable day for Celton Manx.’
The design is sympathetic to its surroundings, externally incorporating a traditional Manx stone facade alongside a modern architectural approach. The interior is a blend of highly functional with aesthetically pleasing design.
Mr Nugent added: ‘I am very pleased to be able to hand over the keys to the finished Celton Manx Global Headquarters. We have enjoyed providing a bespoke facility to meet the exacting needs of Celton Manx as it continues to grow and prosper in the Isle of Man. I would like to thank Bill and the team for their ongoing support and wish them all the best for the future.’
A host of Manx organisations have worked on the project including local firms Stuart Clague Services, Prospero, Colebourn Ltd, Descon and Cubbin and Bregazzi. As a global e-Business the technical, communications and environmental requirements are both significant and exacting.
Mr Mummery continued: ‘We are extremely proud to have established our Global Headquarters in the Isle of Man and to operate in such as well-regulated and internationally recognised jurisdiction. It is also particularly pleasing to work with so many well-established Manx companies; they have delivered a world-class facility.’
‘Our new headquarters will give us the space and technological infrastructure we need to continue to grow our operation from the Isle of Man and although we are saddened to be leaving Castletown, I am very much looking forward to our new home in Braddan.’
Celton Manx will relocate in September with an official opening ceremony taking place on Tuesday September 27th.
