Admiral House Hotel has been awarded three stars by Quality in Tourism, the independent assessment body contracted by Isle of Man Tourism, for the high standard of its service, food and accommodation. The hotel, located on Loch Promenade in Douglas, has also recently been awarded two rosettes by the AA for their new restaurant JAR, which is the maximum possible rating for a restaurant on its first inspection.
Quality in Tourism is the independent body contracted by Isle of Man Tourism to award the independent grading and adheres to national standards known as the National Quality Assessment Scheme (NQAS) working in conjunction with VisitBritain. The scheme, also operating in the UK, award star ratings for all aspects of hotel management, from fire safety to the cleanliness of cutlery and the warmth of welcome guests receive. To have received three stars now puts the Admiral House Hotel in a very select group.
Rachel Camilleri, the Admiral House Hotel’s General Manager, is thrilled with the news that they have been awarded three stars. She said:
