The main Douglas to Castletown Road, Santon will be closed to the public between 11am and 12 noon on Tuesday 23rd August 2011 to allow the jury and members of the Court to visit the scene of a fatal injury road traffic collision which occurred near to the Fairy Bridge on the evening of Monday 6th June 2011. The road will be closed between Ballavale Road and the Blackboards with HGV’s being diverted along the Ballasalla to St Marks Road. Police wish to apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and state that they will open the road as soon as possible. Ends
