Police are investigating a road traffic collision that took place on Mount Rule Road, Marown on Tuesday 23rd August 2011 just after 7.30am. During this incident an unknown small red van collided with a blue Volkswagen Golf which was travelling in the opposite direction. Unfortunately the red van failed to stop at the scene. The Volkswagen golf sustained a smashed driver’s side window and wing mirror as a result of the collision. Police are trying to trace the driver of the small red van and are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision taking place. Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed any person or persons acting suspiciously in the area around the time of 8am – 9.30am.
