Further to the previous press release regarding a person missing from home, police confirm that Katie THOMAS has been located safe and well. Police want to thank the public for their assistance. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Further to the previous press release regarding a person missing from home, police confirm that the name of the young person is Katie THOMAS. Police want to stress to Katie that she is in no trouble and are only concerned about her welfare and safety. Police are asking Katie to contact them as soon as possible on 631212. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Police are appealing to the public for information regarding a young person who is missing from home. The female is described as 14 years of age, 5’2, stocky build, shoulder length dark brown hair, dyed purple, blue eyes and a fresh complexion. She was last seen wearing a black coloured hooded jumper with “Jelly tot” written on the back, blue jeans and white “dolly” shoes. It is believed that she is currently in the lower Douglas area possibly in company with other young persons. Police are concerned for the welfare of this young girl who has been missing for 24 hours, and ask the public to report any information or sightings of her, to them as soon as possible on 631212.
