Royal London 360's Cyclist of the Month for July

by isleofman.com 5th September 2011
Ten year old Tosh Teare has been voted Team Royal London 360's rider of the month for July. The Peel youngster receives the award for the excellent performances he has been producing this year both on and off the island. Still a relative newcomer, Tosh has dominated his class in the Royal London 360 Tuesday night youth league at the NSC, securing the overall honours after just twelve of the twenty rounds had been completed. He also picked up six wins in the under 10 racing bike class to finish a very good third overall. One of the highlights of Tosh's season came at the British national youth circuit race championships in Bradford on July 24th when he finished a superb third in the under 10's category. Although the race was a non-championship event, the result was a good indication of just how much progress Tosh has made in 2011. In recognition of his achievements Tosh receives a commemorative trophy and ?50 in cash, presented to him by British Cycling's North West Development Manager Alex Scoular at the final round of the RL360 league on Tuesday, 30th ENDS
