Dog Fouling at Reservoirs

by isleofman.com 5th September 2011
The Water and Sewerage Authority regrets to inform the public that if the current practice of allowing dogs to foul land adjacent to the reservoirs, or of allowing dogs to swim in the reservoirs, is not ceased with immediate effect, the Authority will have no alternative other than to close its reservoirs to public access. The Authority is committed to promoting reasonable access to its reservoirs for the enjoyment and recreation of the public of the Isle of Man but will not hesitate to take this action if the quality of its essential raw water resource is compromised in any way. This is your drinking water. Please look after it. ENDS
