On Saturday 10th September The Strand Shopping Centre is holding an action packed Star Wars day to coincide with the launch of the complete set of Star Wars films being released on blu-ray available at HMV. There will be lots going on with something for everyone to take part in with events starting at 11am. Star Wars Colouring Competition 11am - 4pm - Open to children 10 years old and under - there will be a prize for the best coloured in picture judged by Darth Vader at 4pm. Prizes will be loads of Star Wars goodies from Modeltech Star Wars PS3 Gaming Competition 11am - 4pm – For all ages – take part in the Play Station gaming competition suitable for all ages – the person with the highest / fastest time will win the Game! Meet Darth Vader and The Storm Troopers! 3pm to 4pm – The Strand will be invaded by Star Wars troopers led by Darth Vader – come and have your photograph taken!
