John "Dog" Callister's Guided Walk of Ballaugh Curraghs.

by isleofman.com 6th September 2011
John “Dog “ Callister will lead a walk around Ballaugh Curraghs on Sunday 11th September starting at 10 .30am at the Wild Life Park car park. John will lead this walk whatever the weather and advises that participants should wear stout boots or wellies and bring some insect repellent in case there are midgies about. He says there will be “plenty to see – late blossoming flowers and Autumn fungi “ The walk may involve “walking on the wild side”, but will be fun and informative. John Dog is doing this walk to raise money for Disabled Children in Degmai Internat , a huge institution in Central Asia where the children are desperately in need of physiotherapy to improve their very basic quality of life. There will be no charge but donations to the Charity will be welcome. ENDS
