Between 6pm on Saturday 3rd September 2011 and 7am on Sunday 4th September a black Smart car has been parked in the vicinity of the Regency Hotel on Queens Promenade, Douglas. Whilst the vehicle was left parked and unattended between these times, it has had its front passenger tyre deliberately punctured with a sharp implement. Constable Andrew LLOYD, who is investigating this matter, is appealing for information from anyone who may have witnessed this damage being caused, or who has any information relating to who was responsible, to contact him at Lord Street Police Station on 631212 or alternatively via the Crimestoppers number of 0800 555 111 where information can be provided anonymously if preferred.

Police are appealing for information following a hit and run road traffic collision involving a parked Blue Citroen on Sunday 4th September. It is believed the collision occurred sometime between 4pm and 10pm on the Strang Road, Union Mills near to the Chapel; the Citroen sustained a dent and scratches to a rear wheel arch.

Detectives continue to investigate a burglary where extensive damage was caused.
The Manx Superbowl in the Castlemona Hotel on, Central Promenade, Douglas was broken into during race week of the TT Festival.
DC Dawn Lowe, who is leading the investigation explained;
“ This facility, which had been closed for some time, has been extensively damaged and the cost is estimated to run into several thousand pounds. We want to speak to the five young people seen in the photographs we have released, in connection with this matter. It is really important that they come forward to speak to us. It may be that a member of the public, or even a family member recognises them. Alternatively if any member of the public has any information about who has been involved in this, please contact us here at Headquarters CID on 631301.
