Request For Information - Missing Person

Police are requesting information regarding the location of John Douglas Kirkland, a 37 year old male who has been reported as missing from home by concerned family members. The last confirmed sighting of Mr Kirkland was on Monday 5th September 2011 at 11 am by his mother. Mr Kirkland is described as being of a slim build, approximately 5’6” tall, has short mousy blonde receding hair and is possibly wearing black smart shoes, dark blue jeans, a blue coloured jumper with a black leather bomber style jacket. Police wish to make contact with Mr Kirkland to try and confirm that he is safe and well and to reassure his family, if seen please contact Police Headquarters on 631212. The Family have given permission for the release of Mr Kirkland’s photograph as people may now him by sight rather than name. Mr Kirkland was living in the Douglas area of the Island but has also previously lived in the South of the Island, both the Police and the family of Mr Kirkland would urge him or anyone with any knowledge of him to make contact as a result of concerns for his welfare.
