Commonwealth Youth Games 2011 TV Footage To Be Screened Worldwide

Footage of the 2011 Isle of Man Commonwealth Youth Games will be screened worldwide, both as part of news programmes and also special Games highlights’ programmes. The event filming, which is managed by Greenlight TV, will also be available on the dedicated Commonwealth Youth Games 2011 You Tube channel, which will be screening daily half hour highlights programmes. The games started on Thursday 8th September and will run to Sunday 11th September. They comprise Athletics, Badminton, Boxing, Cycling, Gymnastics, Rugby 7s, and Swimming. Greenlight TV will also be providing the official Commonwealth Youth Games (www.cyg2011.com) with a streamed live news feed of the swimming events and a delayed stream of the Rugby Sevens, facilitated by the event’s Telecommunications partner Manx Telecom. Broadcasters who are taking the footage already include Setanta and Supersport in Africa, Sky TV New Zealand, TEN Sports in India, StarHub in Singapore, CBC Canada and SBS in Australia and BBC and ITV regions in the UK.
