At approximately 6.30 pm on the 12th July, 2011, a silver Ford Fiesta collided with a parked vehicle at the sea Terminal, Douglas. The Police are requesting that the driver of the vehicle or anyone who has knowledge of the vehicle or driver contact them on 631212 or the Crimestoppers confidential phone line 0800 555 111. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Police are appealing to witnesses in relation to a hit and run road traffic collision that occurred at approximately 6.30pm to 6.45pm on Wednesday 14th September 2011. A blue and white Suzuki motorcycle was parked in front of GBM tyres and was knocked onto its side by an unknown vehicle causing damage to the motorcycle. The incident happened at around 9:30pm on Thursday 16th September 2011 and involved a red Ford Focus, being driven by a 19 year old male, with a 21 year old passenger. In particular Officers would like to speak to a vehicle believed to be travelling immediately in front of the Ford Focus at the time of the incident. Police shut the A2 – Whitebridge Hill for three and a half hours while they conducted enquiries. Constable David BAKER, based at Lord Street Police Station, is currently investigating this matter and is appealing for anyone who may have been in the area between the relevant times, and who may have seen any part of what occurred, to come forward and make contact with him at Lord Street Police Station on 631212. Information can alternatively be provided, anonymously if preferred, via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
