Chapter and Verse: Henry Bloom Noble Library To Celebrate National Poetry Day

Sonnets and couplets, elegies and allegories are likely to feature on the programme when the Henry Bloom Noble Library plays host to the Isle of Man Poetry Society on Thursday October 6 to celebrate National Poetry Day. Society members will be sharing their best loved poems while fans of the heroic couplet, ode, limerick and all other poetry styles are invited to bring along their favourite poem to be read out at the event which will start at 7.45pm and finish at 9.30pm. Refreshments will be available. Tickets are free but must be collected in advance from the ground-floor counter of the library. The Henry Bloom Noble Library, 10 Victoria Street, Douglas.
