by isleofman.com 26th September 2011
Manx2.com has extended its scheduled services from the Isle of Man to Gloucester. In addition to the twice daily weekday flights, from the end of October there will be a third flight on both Monday and Friday. Gloucestershire Airport, located close to the M5 motorway, provides passengers with a fast transit through the airport as well as convenient access to Gloucester, the West Country, Midlands and Bristol. Chairman of Manx2.com Noel Hayes said: ‘Cheltenham, Gloucestershire and the surrounding counties have so much to offer, including stunning scenery, outdoor activities, history and great shopping and these flights provide an ideal gateway to the area.’ The stunning city of Gloucester combines the old with the new, boasting distinctly Victorian architecture and a range of chic shops, bars and restaurants. Nearby spa town Cheltenham is home to National Hunt horseracing while the Royal Forest of Dean covers 27,000 acres of woodland offering a range of outdoor activities. Mr Hayes added: ‘In addition to its ideal M5 motorway location, Gloucestershire Airport is fast acquiring the reputation of being the easiest airport in Europe to travel through; our passengers are usually out of the airport and in their cars within five minutes of touchdown. And with no car parking charges at all to pay, leaving Gloucester Airport is not just fast, it’s free.’ To follow Manx2.com on twitter: http://twitter.com/FlyManx2 And on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/FlyManx2 ENDS
