by isleofman.com 29th September 2011
Onchan Library is holding a Button Jewellery demonstration with Liz Hundleby on Thursday 13th October 6 – 7 p.m. The session is aimed at everyone who loves unusual necklaces, and is interested in designing vintage style jewellery from buttons. Craft lovers are invited to get crafty and bring along their favourite buttons, or simply sit back and enjoy the evening. Refreshments will be served. Admission is free, but as space is limited, please book places from Onchan Library: Onchan.library@onchan.org.im ‘Button Jewellery’ is the first meeting of Onchan Library’s new craft club for adults, ‘Craft and Chat’. The club meets on the second Thursday of each month. Craft lovers are welcome to drop in with current projects – knitting, sewing, painting, or any other type of craft. The library would also like to hear from you if you would like to give a demonstration, or hold a display of work at the library. Find out more about ‘Craft and Chat’ by contacting Onchan Library Tel: 621228. ENDS
