TT3D Wins Major Screen Marketing and Distribution Award

by isleofman.com 29th September 2011
CinemaNX picked up the Best Campaign of the Year for a Film in 3D award at last night’s 2nd Screen Marketing and Distribution Awards ceremony, held at the Hilton Hotel, Park Lane, London. Over 420 of the industry leaders in UK film marketing and distribution gathered last night to celebrate all the innovation in distribution over the last year. Stand up comedian and host for the evening, Stephen K. Amos, kept the audience entertained and announced the winners. Screen International editor, Mike Goodridge congratulated the finalists and commented in his welcome speech: "It's not easy out there, as we all know, but each of these companies is building maximum value for their films in the current marketplace, from working the theatrical release as aggressively and inventively as possible to exploring new ancillary rights." Chairman of CinemaNX Steve Christian said, “Winning the recognition for our campaign is far more important to us than the award itself. Hopefully our DVD campaign for TT3D will be as well received and will bring further benefits to the Island.” TT3D: Closer to the Edge will be released on dvd in the UK on 28th November 2011.
