by isleofman.com 3rd October 2011
A Christmas opening of Eden Park Garden and Lifestyle Centre will take place on Wednesday 19th October. The Centre, in Cooil Road, Braddan, will be open from 6pm - 9pm. There will be a concert, featuring brass quintet Sheean Prash and the award winning ladies choir Manx Voices (formerly the Manx Girls' Choir). Sheean Prash is made up of Helen Quaggin-Molloy (trumpet), Julie Harrison (trumpet), Christopher Weeks (French horn), Juan Wright (trombone) and Grant Taylor (tuba). The choir has a membership base of about 40 members and its musical director is Angela Stewart. There will be a bucket collection for Crossroads Caring for Carers Isle of Man, a local charity who provide care and support services to family and informal Carers who look after a family member, friend or neighbour with an illness, disability, mental health or substance abuse issue. Join us on the 19th and preview Eden Park's Christmas Collection 2011 whilst enjoying music over a glass of fizz. Entrance free, donations in aid of Crossroads welcome. Ends
