Police are investigating an assault that occurred in the area of Market Street, Douglas, shortly before 11:15pm on Friday 23rd September 2011.
Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the assault, the male victim of which was taken to hospital for treatment for facial injuries suffered during the attack. He was later discharged from hospital.
Police are keen to locate a group of youths witnessed running from the scene. This group of youths were described as being aged from 9 to 16 years old. The group consisted of 12 males and 3 females.

Police are investigating a burglary that occurred in the area of Finch Road, Douglas, between the hours of 5.30pm Friday 30th September and 10.40am Saturday 1st October 2011.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the Burglary. Various items have been stolen including two Sony Vaio Laptops silver in colour, DVD’s and various items of clothing.

Between 6:30pm on Sunday 2nd October 2011 and 06:45am on Monday 3rd October 2011, a black KingRoad motor scooter, registration number KMN 940F, was taken without its owner’s permission from the public roadway directly outside number 29 Christian Road, Douglas. Constable Andrew LLOYD of the Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is currently investigating this matter and as such is appealing for information as to the current whereabouts of this vehicle and for any details as to the identity of the person responsible for having taken it.
