Dot’s Dream Foundation– Rebecca House Gift Box

by isleofman.com 7th October 2011
Rebecca House staff at Hospice Isle of Man were delighted to receive a gift box from Dot’s Dream Foundation, a charity set up in memory of former Mayor Dot Pitts in April this year. The gift box contains craft and baking materials, and vouchers so that additional items can be purchased when needed to assist the children in their many activities. Frankie Pitts, one of Dot’s children said of the gift “The idea came about as we’ve attended open days at Rebecca House and have seen at first hand the fabulous facilities and the range of equipment available to the children, and some of the activities they do. Our mum loved to do things with the children in our family and we thought this would be a nice way to give something for the benefit of all the children.” ENDS
