Douglas Police are investigating an act of criminal damage that occurred in the area of Hutchinson Square, Douglas, between 10:30pm Monday 10th October 2011 and 5am Tuesday 11th October 2011. Police Officers are appealing for witnesses to the damage caused to the silver coloured Ford Fusion motor car; which is similar in looks to a Fiesta. The damaged was to both offside tyres, which have been slashed with a sharp pointed instrument. The ‘R’ plates attached to the front and rear windows have also been damaged by the same instrument, both sustaining slash marks. Any person who may have seen anything suspicious during this period or witnessed the damage being done is asked to contact PC David Hall at Lord Street Police Station. Ends
