The Children’s Centre Out2Play scheme has a fun packed half-term in store for youngsters across the Island. Whatever the weather, organisers say that all events will take place outdoors - and with lots of high-energy activities being planned the youngsters won’t have a problem staying warm! The fun starts on Monday October 24 and continues until the final event on Friday October 28. As always, the Out2Play sessions are run by The Children’s Centre Playworkers supported by volunteers and as well as offering a chance to play it is also a good opportunity to meet new friends. Sessions are open to children aged four to 11. Chris Gregory, Playwork Development Officer at The Children’s Centre, said: “Our motto for Out2Play this half-term is: ‘There’s no such thing as bad weather, just inappropriate clothing’.
