Subtitled Screenings at the Broadway Cinema

The Department of Community, Culture and Leisure is delighted to confirm that there will be a special subtitled screening of The Three Musketeers at the Broadway Cinema on Saturday 5 November at 5pm. Please note this will be a high definition 2D screening, as there is no 3D subtitled option for this title. Hon. David Cretney MHK, Minister for Community Culture and Leisure said, “The Department is committed to improving access to leisure services to everyone in the Isle of Man. Providing subtitled screenings at the Broadway Cinema is the latest addition designed to enhance the enjoyment of going to the cinema for people with disabilities.” Launching as part of Disability Awareness Week (31 October – 5 November), subtitled screenings will become a regular feature of the Broadway Cinema schedule. In addition to the subtitled screenings, the Broadway Cinema also has a state of the art loop induction system for people wearing hearing aids, audio description is available for all screenings to improve the cinema going experience for people with visual difficulties and there is a dedicated seating area for people using wheelchairs.
