Over the weekend diesel and coal have been stolen from the Balthane industrial Estate, Castletown. The Police would like to hear from anyone that has been offered diesel or a 25kg bag of ‘Wildfire’ coal. Constable TREVETHAN would like to highlight that any information, no matter how insignificant that it may seem at the time, is of great importance and he would be keen to hear from anybody with any information as soon as possible at Port Erin Police Station on 631212. Constable Tom Gascoyne from Douglas Neighbourhood Policing Team is appealing for information after a dog was attacked by a grey Lurcher dog on Douglas beach. The incident occurred at approximately 4.30 pm on Monday 10th October close to the Villa Marina. The dog responsible for the attack is believed to be a grey Lurcher with brown markings. It is believed that the owner of the Lurcher is male and Pc Gascoyne is keen to speak with the owner or any person who may know who this person is. PC Gascoyne would like to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the incident or could help with any relevant information.
