A historic occasion will be taking place at the Cathedral Church of St German, Peel this coming weekend on Saturday 15 October 2011 at 2.30pm. The Very Reverend Nigel Godfrey is to be installed as Dean of the Cathedral as the Bishop ceases to be the Dean, a role which has gone with that of Bishop for many years in a service that will also witness the installation of the new Archdeacon of the Isle of Man, the Venerable Andrew Brown and also that of Mr Colin Finney as a Lay Canon of the Cathedral.
