Police in Port Erin are investigating an incident of criminal damage that occurred at Port Erin Methodist Church, Station Road, Port Erin. Between the 2nd October, 2011 and the 10th October, 2011 a panel in a stain glassed window was smashed. The scene was examined by the Police and items located at the scene were taken for forensic examination. Anyone with information they think may be useful to Police is asked to contact Port Erin Police Station on 832222 or speak with any Police officer. ENDS ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Information sought * Car Damaged outside Creek Inn, Peel * Police in Peel are appealing for information after a Grey Honda Civic car was damaged this weekend whilst parked outside The Creek Inn in Peel. This criminal act has occurred sometime between 9pm on Saturday 15th Oct 2011 and 12pm on Sunday 16th Oct 2011. The paintwork down the passenger side of the Honda Civic has been scratched with a blunt object (possibly a key) or similar. Police in Peel are in search of a thief who stole money and confectionary from St James’s Church in Dalby. Sometime after 12pm on Sunday 16th October 2011 someone has entered the Church in Dalby and helped themselves to money from honesty cash boxes and taken several items of ‘Fairtrade’ confectionary that was on display within the church. The small community within Dalby are saddened that someone could steal from their Church. The church is now considering closing the facility due to this incident, which is unfair on the Community who use it. Police are keen to speak to anyone who may be able help with this matter.
