Police are requesting information in relation to dog attack which occurred in the vicinity of the Woodbourne Public House, Alexander Drive on Wednesday 5th October, whereby a 15 year old female was attacked by a Dalmatian cross breed dog as she attempted to free her dog from being attacked. The male owner of the Dalmatian cross dog who was present throughout the incident is urgently requested to contact the Police.
Anyone with any information in relation to the owner of the Dalmatian cross dog are urged to contact the investigating Officer, PC264 Crossley at Lord Street Police Station as soon as possible on 631212.

Between the hours of 6.30pm on Thursday 13th October 2011 and 8.00am on Friday 14th October 2011 a blue Volkswagon Passatt was parked in the public car park at Douglas Street Peel. During this time the vehicle sustained damage to the drivers side from front to rear.
Police are keen to trace anyone who may have been in the car park between these hours and who may have seen anything relating to the vehicle being damaged.

On the 3rd September 2011 at approximately 00.55 hours a serious Road Traffic accident occurred at the junction with he Creg-ny-Baa Back Road and the TT course involving one vehicle, a green Ford Scorpio.
The two occupants of the car suffered serious injuries and were initially treated at Nobles Hospital and a Police investigation into the circumstances commenced.
The male driver has now been officially identified as Christopher James Heaney, aged 21 of Onchan, was flown to Walton Neurological Hospital where he was treated for his injuries. Despite undergoing numerous procedures he passed away at Nobles Hospital on Sunday the 16th October 2011 after being flown back to the Island last week to be repatriated with his mum, Miss Eileen Heaney.
Miss Heaney has expressed her deepest thanks to all of the Emergency Services and members of the public who attended the accident and stated “I can’t believe how kind everyone has been and the amount of help given to Chris and myself. Chris loved cars and his job as a valet and will be missed by all his friends and family”
The Police investigation is still continuing into the circumstances leading up to the accident and the second occupant of the car is making a good recovery from her injuries. A Police spokesman thanked the public for all their help stating the response had been positive and provided helpful information.
