On Thursday 08 March 2012 Ian Clague, PwC Isle of Man, principle sponsor of “QUESTION OF SPORT” comments: “PwC are delighted to be the lead sponsor of Question of Sport and we are sure that it will be a fun and enjoyable evening for all. We are also pleased that the event will help to raise funds and hope that everyone will give generously towards the local good causes." John Wannenburgh of the IOM Sporting & Dining Club: “This event will uniquely involve each and every guest as they participate in the “QUESTION OF SPORT” Quiz, held in association with PwC Isle of Man. The Sporting & Dining Club is well established local provider of Sporting dinners, and the addition of ‘Question of Sport’ to our annual event calendar, will allow us to further support deserving causes, whilst executing our own core competence of corporate hospitality, enabling each of our guests to experience a first class evening of entertainment”. The Isle of Man Sporting & Dining Club’s “QUESTION OF SPORT” is a fabulous, black tie evening of corporate entertainment and a little friendly competition, to be held at the prestigious Palace Hotel & Casino. The evening will be hosted by impressionist Kevin Connolly, comedian and star of BBC2’s “Dead Ringers”, who will add a splash of quality and humour with his incredible repertoire of well-known sporting voices, including Des Lynam, John Motson, Geoffrey Boycott and Sven Goran Eriksson. Teams are welcomed from all areas - corporate, societies, charities, sport & social clubs and committees - everyone will be made most welcome! Tables will be competing as a team, to win trophies and champagne in a stylish and engaging sports quiz. The evening begins with a champagne reception before sitting down to a quality four course dinner with wine on your table. We will provide all the production of questions and graphics, all of the audio visual equipment as well as an MC. Using our wireless keypad technology, you will compete in the interactive “QUESTION OF SPORT” quiz shown on the big screens throughout the evening. The quiz features a wide range of question styles that can be enjoyed by everyone, not just sport experts. Each round includes the old favourites of ‘Mystery Guest’ and ‘What happened Next?’ As well as the quiz, there will be other games and entertainment to ensure that you and your guests have a lot of fun - no matter how you perform in the Quiz!
