With Christmas just nine weeks away, the Sefton Group is encouraging individuals and businesses to finalise their festive plans. The Sefton and the Palace Hotel & Casino will host a selection of dedicated events aimed at celebrating the festive season in style. In addition to a range of party nights at the Palace Hotel & Casino - including tributes to The Beatles, Abba and Dame Shirley Bassey - both hotels are offering tantalising Christmas lunch menus, starting on December 1st. At The Sefton, Christmas lunches are served in the Garden Room where diners can feast upon a menu designed by chefs from the hotel’s AA 2-Rosette award-winning Gallery restaurant. This includes dishes such as goat’s cheese and fig compote wrapped in filo with a soft herb salad and balsamic reduction, followed by a slow-cooked succulent breast of turkey, home-baked ham, honey-drizzled sausages and a heavenly pork and sage boudin and Christmas pudding with brandy and amaretto sauce. Three courses cost just ?18.50. And of course there’s also the annual Christmas Carvery lunches in the Harris Restaurant at The Sefton, with a three-course carvery meal for just ?15 per person. Meanwhile, the Palace Hotel & Casino’s famous three-course carvery lunch can be enjoyed in one of its spacious dining areas, looking out towards Douglas Bay and beyond, for ?12.95 per person. Both hotels are also offering tempting rates on accommodation, with rates in the Palace Hotel & Casino and The Sefton available from ?50.00 per night.
