Fatal Incident Glentruan Golf Course

At about 2.45pm on Friday 21st October 2011, Fire, Police and Ambulance services, together with officers from the Health and Safety Executive attended an incident involving a one vehicle collision on the GlenTruan Golf course, Bride. A 71 yr old local man was declared dead at the scene. Initial enquiries do not indicate that there are suspicious circumstances, and no-one else was involved in the incident. The death has been reported to the coroner of inquests. Officers from the Health and Safety Executive are continuing to make enquiries, in conjunction with the Police (who are investigating on behalf of the coroner of inquests). ENDS.
