This weeks Vegas scratch league round saw seven personal bests being achieved. These came from Anne Rutland, Kirsten George, Billy Lightfoot, Frank Vaughan, Bradley Layton, Adam Wright and Sarah Rigby returning from injury, equalled her score and added two extra gold’s to set her new PB. In the Gents Recurve division, Dave Berry topped the podium, struggling on with a recurring shoulder injury. Jon Rutland came in second, with the ever improving Billy Lightfoot picking up third position with yet another personal best from him. Ladies Recurve saw the in-form Anne Rutland once again smash her personal best by a massive 86 points and top the podium ahead of Barbara Harris. In the gents compound the recovering Peter Mumford topped the podium from Colin Moore who seemed to be having a mare of a day especially when the Manchester derby score came in. Ladies Compound saw the return of Sarah Rigby after 3 months out recovering from her acromioclavicular joint separation injury and shooting this shoot with the mother of all headaches still managed to equal her best to top the podium, with another returning archer Aalin George who has taken the last month off after the time spent this year travelling to the World and the European youth championships, and picking up the third spot on the podium is Joy Gough. The Junior Recurve event - Bradley Layton topped this one from Adam Wright with the pair both putting in personal bests. Others shooting were Karen and Robert Lott and little Charlotte Harris all shooting the Portsmouth round.
