Crossroads Caring for Carers Christmas Market returns to The Strand Shopping Centre this Thursday, 3rd November 2011. The local charity's Christmas Market hosts specialist stalls for that perfect Christmas present. From designer cakes to original artwork, bespoke jewellery, stocking fillers and fresh wreaths, Crossroads Caring for Carers Christmas Market is your one stop shop for all your Christmas presents this Christmas. The Market, open every Thursday - Sunday until Christmas, including Monday - Thursday the week before Christmas, will feature a series of local suppliers, including The Individual Cake Company, Bohosky, Island Sheepkins, My Chocolate Explosion, AJ Jewelley, Angies Glassworks, Minx Tales, ArtworkX of Mann and many more. Crossroads will also be selling their charity Christmas Cards with original designs by local artists Jenny Kissack and Felicity Wood and award winning Ultimate Puddings, which are absolutely delicious and fantastic value for money, plus many other gifts. Local charities Oxfam and the Joey Dunlop Foundation will also appear at the Market. Stallholders will change on a daily basis so there will be new and exciting products to view and sample with each visit to the Market. The Market will also house a series of festive workshops such as gingerbread house making and wreath making throughout November and December and will see visits from carol singers, pantomime characters and Santa Claus himself. The Market will also house the 'Christmas Postbox' that will collect Crossroads' Charity Christmas Card Design Competition entries. School aged children island wide are encouraged to post their design that will be made into the local charity's Christmas Card for Christmas 2012. Entries can be any size, must be posted in the Christmas Postbox by Sunday 18th December 2011 and state the childs name, age, contact telephone number and school on the back. The winning entry will be announced on Manx Radio on Thursday 22nd December and the winner will receive a giant teddy bear.
