At approximately 2.40pm on Thursday 10th November 2011, a serious injury road traffic collision occurred at the above location. The collision involved a red coloured DAF Lowlander double decker bus and a pedal cycle. The rider of the pedal cycle was taken to Nobles Hospital where he was detained. The driver and occupants of the bus were uninjured. The road was closed for approximately two and a half hours whilst Police conducted enquiries at the scene. Police would like to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision or who may have been travelling through the area at around the time of the collision.
