The Last Christmas

‘The Last Christmas’ at St Ninian’s lower school is being celebrated with a traditional Yuletide Market. On Thursday 8 December at 6:30 pm, the lower school will see a Dickensian Themed Evening being held, with various stalls –Cakes, Hot Chestnuts, Partylite Candles, Avon, Christmas Stall, Fairtrade, to name but a few. For the children there will be a separate area for Games, such as Splat the Robin, Hoop La and of course Father Christmas will be in his Grotto. To add to the Theme, there will be a Victorian History Lesson lasting around 10 minutes, held at various intervals throughout the evening, as well as Carol Singers, Musicians and Drama Groups. A Victoria Sponge Competition is being run and will be judged by Chef Tony Quirk. Anyone who wishes to enter should deliver their cake to the Office at Lower School on Thursday 8 December, no later than 11:00 am. The cakes will then be sold in slices on the night with the winner being announced at the event. Admission is ?1 for adults, 50p for children and includes a Fruit Punch and Mince Pie. There is also a prize for the best Victorian Costume, so dress for the occasion and let’s celebrate the past 117 years of this school. ENDS
