Christmas In Ramsey

by isleofman.com 18th November 2011
Ramsey retailers are hoping a new initiative will help attract customers to the town in coming weeks. Ramsey Chamber of Commerce has commissioned a professionally produced, 4 page A4 booklet which will contain ‘special offer vouchers’ for use in named stores in the weeks before Christmas. Chris Blatcher, Chairman of the Chamber explains “A major global trend in the last year or so has been the use of vouchers or coupons - driving customers in store through special offers. The Chamber has made the decision to focus its annual Christmas advertising campaign around this concept, hence the production of the booklet.” The booklet also contains information about Christmas events in the town, including the free to enter Ramsey Santa Trail and its ?1200 prize fund, the Santa’s Grotto and St Paul’s Square Christmas Market. 15,000 copies of the booklet will be distributed Island wide using the Examiner newspaper dated Monday 21st November. Copies can also be picked up from participating stores in the town. ENDS
